A spirited fightback in Piraeus, although it wasn't quite enough to secure the draw. At least Denmark dropped points at home against Belarus, setting up a massive winner-takes-all game at Hampden this Tuesday night for a place at the World Cup!

Scotland 2-1 Belarus. Six points from six this international break and after Denmark's win over Greece, a World Cup play-off secured as a minimum. Two disappointing performances though and much improvement required for the final two games.

Not the most enjoyable 3-1 win at Hampden tonight against the Greeks, but I'll take it. Puts us in a great position to guarantee at least a play-off. Hopefully a much better performance for the Belarus game on Sunday.

Decent number of check-ins on the @futbologyapp.bsky.social app and a great turnout of the Tartan Army for the end of season friendly last night in Vaduz. Beautiful setting for the Rheinpark Stadion. Liechtenstein a fantastic host and made Scotland fans very welcome.

Scotland relegated to League B of the UEFA Nations League along with Austria and Hungary after a 3-1 aggregate defeat. Very poor performance in the second leg tonight. Well done to Greece - a deserved promotion to League A.

Scotland's last international match in Vaduz against Liechtenstein, a Euro 2012 qualifier in October 2011, is fondly remembered by the locals [LFV]. Although we won't take the same numbers, it would be great to have the pipe band at the Rheinpark again.

Scotland's final fixtures in the World Cup Qualifiers are away to Greece on Saturday 15th November and then at home to Portugal or Denmark on Tuesday 18th November.
