If you want scholarly publishing to be more aligned with scholarly values, then try out Lifecycle Journal.

If you embrace transparency, then you can do your research in the Lifecycle Journal without risking publishing in the existing system if you later decide to do so. A🧵

Great @voxdev.bsky.social post by @johnlist.bsky.social with concrete recommendations for addressing the pilot-to-scale challenges in int'l development during research. I wrote about these pilot-to-scale challenges for #3ie in 2016 here: www.3ieimpact.org/blogs/pitfal...

Three cheers for the @aeainformation.bsky.social report and recommendations for social media use! It is entirely appropriate for a voluntary professional association to have behavioral codes of conduct. And great to see the shout out for #econsky!

Few people even know about this; when people are asked in surveys how child mortality has changed the majority says it has stagnated or increased.

If you consider that many don't know about humanity's biggest achievement, then it's not surprising that many are so pessimistic about our future.

Female content creators on YouTube received significantly more negative feedback for comparable content.

But the removal of public display of dislikes eliminated this gender gap and persistently increased female creator productivity and consumer demand.

I am on the #econjobmarket this year!

My JMP focuses specifically on second-generation migrant girls. How does education policy impact them as they grow up in a highly egalitarian society, yet within families that have migrated from more gender-traditional origins?

For my first Bluesky post, I'll share the poster (top half) we presented at the Global Evidence Summit #GES two weeks ago. Is there a strong evidence base to state that locally led development is *more effective* than traditional development? No. But there are others reasons it is better.
