I'm starting up a Gen-X, "New Romantic" band called, SPANDEX BUFFET! Here's the first hit single from the album, Dining. The song is called Endless Feast, and all the X-ers are gonna be hitting the clubs again, after the buffet of course, to shake those love handles!

This involved an out of tune acoustic guitar, a plastic container with rubber bands stretched over the opening, the subsonic rumble of an underground parking lot ventilation system, a harmonic drone derived from looping several tracks of violin, and noises captured at a walk-through haunted house.

The background field recording was captured at a work site, about 10 years ago. It features abrupt clanging/banging, vehicle traffic and train sounds. Augmenting that is a subsonic throb, occasional theatre organ stabs, nickelodeon flourishes, and Theremin tones from an AniMoog virtual synth.

A couple of KORG Monotron Delay recordings accompanied by some open field, wind in trees ambience and the grinding of the lid of a rusty old wood stove. Field recordings were captured in 2010 at an isolated mountain cabin near the ghost town of Gold Bridge, BC.
