Trump attacking DEI while proclaiming Women’s & Irish Heritage Month may seem strange but it’s how the state manages oppression. Symbolic recognition distracts from dismantling real avenues for equity, keeping power in ruling class hands while pacifying the oppressed.

We’re living under an increasingly dystopian, fascist government. Instead of gloating over who “deserves” their suffering, we should be fighting for a future where working people aren’t pitted against each other. Division only serves the ruling class.

I’ve been noticing a disturbing trend: liberals rejoicing in the suffering of Trump voters. Immigrant families losing legal status, farmers struggling under this presidency’s economic fallout, and federal and aviation workers losing jobs. “Told you so” isn’t just cruel. It’s counterproductive.
