No change. Almost a year since we learnt of the crisis in the University of Dundee and it is all the same...Except of course many colleagues have left and many more of us are at risk.

😍 A hell of a classic

Not sure I follow the point from the abstract. GWAS don't prioritise genes, they identify variants. People choose to prioritise the nearest gene, whether there is evidence for it to be involved on the trait or not.

I've seen people commenting on this article today (you have to give them your data to read it, so not even linking it here). And I haber only read what I can of out, but it seems to me that they talk about mentors when they mean PhD and postdocs supervisors. Those are not mentors.

Oh, I have no clue how much the VC of Dundee may be getting, but he is out too. I'm surprised any VC is going before they fire a bunch of people. Surely the institucions want them to do that before they go...
