Today's post is inspired by a specific "my heritage" weirdo in the comment section yesterday, but the basic idea that DNA somehow equals expertise in medieval studies isn't unique to Americans.

My prediction for the future: the age of the ‘storyteller’ is over. The average person can no longer engage with any media that doesn’t do exactly what they want it too, & AI technology will give them the means to have stories told to them exactly as they require w/o conflict or curiosity.

This little girl (my Mara Jade) just had her first experience with snow 🥰. At 3 years old, this Malamute decided it wasn't bad. It'll blow her mind in a bit as there will be less sleet and more snow coming down. I love my puppy ❤️🥰.

I know we fought a war or somethin' somewhere, didn't we? I'ma getting old, and the health ain't helpin' but pretty sure my neighbors when I was a young child with tattoos on their arms mighta had somethin' to do with it 🤔.

If you haven't read Rogue: Savage Land #1 yet, get on wit yuir bad self an' start readin' it! Been in the South almost 30 yrs, and my Southern still sucks 🙃. @hackintimseeley.bsky.social does a wonderful job capturing Rogue's personality in this great start to a five part series. Can't wait for #2!
