definitely agree with you on that. it doesn't seem like the kind of project you want to pay for, and it might even gate keep global adoption unfortunately. for the bucks i'd still prefer to hack tools together myself like you suggested

I feel like this is more about providing a de facto standard unified toolchain that "just works" so every new projects wont have to hack 10+ tools together
