Ok, I'm going to come out and say it, Gladiator II is awful.
The script was very bad. The characters were flat. There was no flow to the story. Borrowing phrases and other elements from Gladiator 1 to fill in weak dialogue/story is embarrassing. The fight scenes did not have any cool moments.
