New Zealand Primary teacher for 25 years in various schools and positions. Currently working in a variety of classes as a release teacher. A bit of a tech/ geek following on from my early year as an Electrician. Enjoying living and working in Levin, NZ.
Build habits early, lots of visits to libraries, reading great stories, and author visits. I also wonder about audio books and podcast series. Both have encouraged my students but do stray from pure reading.
