I mean swipe typing is kind of the alternative. It's taking all of these adjustments and compromises and rolling with it, removing the ambition to hit the right keys altogether. For 99% of words it works fine, and when there's a proper noun or something, you can manually type it out just fine.

There are enough gaps in canon for plausible deniability, that's all. Canonically, every character is gay until proven bi.
