true, but i wasn't critiquing the show in good faith; i was trying to be funny. it's obviously absurd to compare it to perfect blue. as i recall it was a mystery thriller with some entertainment industry flavoring. i found some stuff in the first ep in poor taste and then quickly grew bored with it

the show's real sin is that it's just not a very interesting exploration of how idol culture is bad. idk what they were thinking with the isekai angle either
