Western barbarism played its role just as well. Keep your head out of your nationalism and party lines.

In 1921, over 10,000 coal miners rose up in the Battle of Blair Mountain. The U.S. government deployed planes to drop bombs on striking families while they initiated the largest armed labor uprising in US history.

This was just over 100 years ago. Omit “they can’t do that” from your vocabulary.

DC Mayor Walter Washington and local leaders opposed the bill. Community leaders, including Julius Hobson, suggested residents resist by force if police entered homes unannounced. Religious and civic leaders, including Marion Barry, echoed resistance. The House debate featured Rep.
