i liked san francisco rush 2049 back in the day. can't say whether it's aged well but it has a cute gimmick where your car can briefly have wings

also really obvious pick in diddy kong racing if you haven't played that

you're going to be stunned at how many forks are in this particular kitchen. it's actually an abnormal amount

this show is very similar to birdie wing in that in their respective universes there is something two (or more...?) girls can do together that is more gay than having sex

yea i've watched it, i think it has a lot of janky points but i loved it overall and it's really ambitious in a lot of ways. looking forward to the continuation and i learned both the OP and ED for karaoke

all said as a game designer i think it's nice to think about what your harder modes are actually adding to the game. ultimately it won't ruin your game if the answer is "not much tbh" that's fine and quite common, but that deeper layer could be what makes your game truly great

i had a similar experience clearing harbinger difficulty in world of horror (great game otherwise, btw). used almost identical strats to lower diffs and just highrolled constantly. if you are a world of horror expert and i'm missing consistent strats for HoD lmk but my impression is it's sauceless

with a good roll you can clear dare mode with almost exactly the same strats you used in the normal mode. on the flip side, even after clearing curse mode and having a strong understanding of the mechanics you could easily get hardlocked in dare mode if you're just unlucky

small addendum: blue prince has two "hard modes", dare mode and curse mode. i think dare mode sucks and is not real sicko content
November 21, 2025 at 8:36 AM
(no, it's not actually a mod, that's just the in-universe lore about it. no, i don't recommend it if you hated the gameplay and just liked the vibes. but if the gameplay itself appealed to you, please consider it. and the other things i mentioned. and other games' weird sicko content)

the thing i'm thinking about ends up feeling like the "main game" invited you down a rabbit hole and then after the credits scroll offered you a second rabbit hole, not just "the first one but ramped up a bit"

maybe it sounds crazy but trust me and play inscryption kaycee's mod and you'll get it
November 21, 2025 at 8:35 AM
"aren't these just hard modes" well that's the thing that's tough to explain. like kinda yes but they have to be a special breed of good. like you can call something hard and just make enemies hit harder and have more hp but here we're talking about things that reveal new things about the gameplay
November 21, 2025 at 8:35 AM
for years i've been lamenting that most ppl who play inscryption put it down after the main story and don't play KM. you probably felt like you got a full game experience in the story and yeah, you sure did. but the secret is that it has another full game experience and it's (imo) even better

set it to 1 so sonic can be like haha one
November 5, 2025 at 2:22 PM
make an entire song of it. just mutate the sample until it's all your instruments
November 3, 2025 at 12:39 AM
it has the vibe of 4kids dub OPs so i'm gonna say it rules
November 1, 2025 at 8:12 PM
that's completely fine though. as much as you might love your friends and cool people, you are your own individual and sometimes this is proof

i think you can approximate it with "koku woku momoku banana fana fofoku koku"
