Did both air filters, serpentine belt, and spark plugs last night. Bit of stress at the end cause I failed to plug cylinder 3 coil pack in all the way, but #bravelittletoaster is running smooth again today!

Two weeks ago I quit my very well-payed bicycle mechanics job and signed an offer letter at a machine shop as a manual machinist. Today is my first day. Lunch is deluxe ramen with sardines. After 15 years, I have graduated from the retail-service side of the bicycle industry.

A most aquarian birthday surprise imaginable! The freeze broke the yard hydrant, didn't have a tool to get down to the main with proper leverage so I had to make one in the fly out of a spare seatpost while it was gushing! Got it turned off and can now go get a cap so I can turn the water back on ;)

It's my birthday. Can't sleep, too many thoughts about the future, the present, the past...
