If I'm ever recommending FF as a series to someone I generally just tell them to have a flick through each entry and pick the one with the most appealing vibe -- I then immediately tell them to just play FFX because it's the best one.

Besides the fact that this game fucking rules and is THE battle shonen of all time, SA2 genuinely has one of my favourite game endings of all time.

Digimon World

So this is, without a doubt, my favourite game of all time. Despite being heavily flawed it's a game I'm always excited to revisit as I more often than not find something new, get to try out new Digivolutions, and generally just have a great time exploring its strange world.
