I’ve been on a Skybound kick lately. I mean- I’ve been reading it since it started? But I decided to set up opposing displays on my current hodgepodge room shelves. Autobots are almost all there (as far as the current earth team goes). Decepticons are rather sparse until next year though…

Next shout is to Host Dragon, the new primal space dragon. Alien Core has a whole host of aliens that boil down to “we filled it with bugs!” And it’s awful and I love it! These guys even have bugs as their breath weapon! If they bite or swallow you, you also get further bug bites. It’s awful/great!

I think what highlighted these insectoid aliens for me was the ability to”husk mind”. It’s a hive mind, but the… flavor of those two words. They’re not undead. But they… kind of give that vibe? And so it all just feels… weird and wrong. In a really cool way.

Akata. Oh… Akata. I started in 1e with Dead Suns, and used that as a jumping off point for several campaigns. And these gnarly blue goo dogs have a place in my heart. If you want to capture some of that Alien horror for a low level crew, you can’t go wrong with these guys.

Nearly two weeks of travel but I'm home and so very tired.

So naturally I immediately made a bunch of very basic mockups for the Murder in Metal City pregens to have ready for new to tabletop friends!

Very very good at relaxing I am. But also proud of these! And excited for friends!

It has name, pronouns, ancestry, class, and background, as well as a handful of abilities generalized. The categories are written in a typeface to look like alien text. This one is for Jaedana, She/Her, a Kasatha Operative with the Spacefarer background. She's a sharpshooter, can sabotage tech, and is stealthy. A basic character database for one of the pregenerated characters for the Starfinder 2e Adventure "Murder in Metal City". It has name, pronouns, ancestry, class, and background, as well as a handful of abilities generalized. The categories are written in a typeface to look like alien text. This one is for Lunar-17, She/Her, an Android Mystic with the Detective background. She has healing magic, mystical knowledge, and a psychic connection to others. This one is for "Nitpick" Bennit, He/Him, a Ysoki Witchwarper with the City Slickerbackground. He can warp reality, hack technology, and has unique probability magics. A basic character database for one of the pregenerated characters for the Starfinder 2e Adventure "Murder in Metal City". It has name, pronouns, ancestry, class, and background, as well as a handful of abilities generalized. The categories are written in a typeface to look like alien text. This one is for Old-Growth Wildfire, They/Them, a Khizar Soldier with the Recluse background. They fire an automatic weapon at full range, can perform bursts of strength, and have grenades.

Never actually posted my haul from #GenCon last night so here it all is. I set a limit to myself on dice and would have ended up with more shirts if half of the ones I liked hadn’t been out.

So I've been a fan of Transformers on and off most of my life. A couple years back I found IDW's MTMTE run and hyperfixation has not let go since. I wanted that cast on a shelf and then it's spun out to general collecting and well...

I've started to enjoy posing and wanted to share.

I made Soondubu jigae for lunch for the first time today and I’m so proud of how it came out! I have a few personal tweaks now, but I also feel more confident with a dish I love that has long intimidated me.

Normal tabletop didn’t happen tonight due to an absence so we filled in with a new game that speaks to me deeply:
Raccoon Sky Pirates, a game for 3 to 6 raccoons. A white box with a drawing of a raccoon leaping from an explosion with a dangled line of Christmas lights in its mouth. Together you’ll navigate the treacherous neighborhoods, find a ripe, free-standing house with cable internet, steal as much as you can carry, and fend off the Neighborhood Watch— all while trying not to explode. In Raccoon Sky Pirates, it’s all for one and one for all. Flying a ship takes coordination and discipline. Unfortunately you’re a bunch of raccoons.

We went pumpkin chucking today! Or well, went TO pumpkin chucking! Very happy to be in Vermont again.

I'm gonna give this one to Maeryn, my half-elf inventor. This former cat burglar accidentally broke an artifact and cursed herself with the spirit of a feral dragon that's been slowly overtaking her body and mind. She's a mostly pleasant archer thief archetype when she doesn't lose herself to anger.
