Hmm I guess I don’t know anyone who is 0% artsy. Like my father who was lawyer/accountant/developer and is like 98 % not personally artsy, still enjoys & collects art. Or my engineering friends who are really into 3-d printing. Creative pursuits can look like a lot of things.

My husband is not crafty but he enjoys art (used to draw) and loves music and we are both readers. We are also very independent, and don’t mind having interests that don’t intersect. I have knitting friends and he has cycling friends. There is plenty we do share.

It is. Hang on to the little joys and victories. I also have to say that absolutely everyone who cared for k1 at the hospital was amazing. Kind, hardworking and genuine.

Son is recovering well from gender affirming surgery! His cat can’t decide if I’m a friend or prey but my bed tent let’s me get a good night sleep on the couch bed either way!
