Mostly agree. I find myself feeling overwhelmed or distracted trying to navigate some of the newer, higher fidelity games in the market these days. Retro games? One glance and you know where you are, what you can interact with and where you can go.

When I was a kid playing morrowind, I wanted to contract corpus so bad and thought I could get it from one of the lame corprus', I remember sitting there and letting one beat on me for hours on end. Eventually I learned the God mode cheat and left it overnight, but never became like him 😢

Yep! Final fantasy 9 and 6 moogles are my favourites.

Yesss! Starting this game took me on such a long journey, I basically played every other game in the series back to back - I was totally hooked. Enjoy!

Ahh... SaGa Frontier was my first exposure to to the SaGa games back when I was a kid, I have so much fondness and nostalgia for that one. The amount of times it kicked my ass because of how unconventional it was... 😂 Such a good game. What's your favourite campaign?
