Happy New Year everyone! New year means a new look. Decided to try out the pointed ears for Ana. I think it fits pretty well. Still trying to decide some WoW goals for this year. And seeing as I have 4 days away from work, maybe I can come up with something fun.

I finally snagged myself off a couple days off of work (After a 6 day stretch that has me exhausted) I am finally gonna finish this beauty before patch day on Tuesday!

That wraps up the night elf starting area! I had so much fun going through, reading the old quests, and reliving memories of this area from back in the day. I started in 2007 and I still cannot put this game away.

Hitting the end of the zone! I like the effects this area has once you get the zone abilities to go after the corruption in the area.

Favorite spot in the whole zone! This tree is so cool. I love how it was designed. Add this area in with the zone music and you have such a cozy spot. And of course, it has one of the saddest quests in the zone too. I'm not one for spiders but this one made me sad to kill.

These things freaked me out the first time I saw a wisp. It took me a comically long time to figure out that these were night elf spirits 🤣🤣

When Cata came out, I remember going through every quest in the new starting zones, seeing if I could remember the similarities. This was the spot that I actually could not. I am sad to admit, I did not start reading through alot of quests text until Wrath of the Lich King 😅

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I kind of remember a cave similar to this in the older zone but i think I died and got lost, as usual for a new player haha. I however, did get to pick my spec, looking at mount and transmog options. We're about halfway through the zone now.

We're gonna take a short detour into the Anniversary Grounds to get some exp buffs and listen to Lorewalker Cho. This characters VA is among one of my favorites. Wonder which story this is going to be? We'll head back to Dolnanaar for some cave quests after this!

Back again! We're level 9 and continuing our adventures in Dolanaar. Going to go get the fel cones and look around the map a bit. Maybe even hit the old Burrow Den and kill some furblogs for old times sake!

I still love this capital city so very much. I think the first time I visited it was with a human paladin, on a random walking journey across Azeroth. I didn't even know what this place was at first. I'm running around here now, checking out the different nooks and crannies that I explored before.

Crossroads to get to Dalanaar. The first hub city in the night elf starting zone. I did not make it this far right away before. I fell off the tree after visiting the quest givers and died haha. I could not find my way back like most newbies at the time, I started again haha.
