I got emails back from mine after I explained his grant funding cuts would directly affect my job that I've had for 20+ years.
First one sent me a canned response about how he fully supports Trump. Second one didn't know what I was talking about. Fucking useless.

Pasturized milk is fine. Don't get anything labeled "unpasturized" or "raw". Cooking to proper temperatures will kill the virus in beef and eggs. The mass killing of chickens is more about containing spread if I'm not mistaken.

To be fair, my impression is the majority of these cases are from drinking "raw" milk or having direct contact with fowl.
