In light of our Predator-in-Chief, I'm curious to see how the courts treat the Blake Lively/Justin Baldoni conflict. Will he be a Weinstein or a Woody Allen? (Of course, Baldoni did make a critical error in male machismo: he stalked a woman who is married to a man of equal/greater status to himself)

Having reached 50, it seems that every year brings the death of amazing people I am so in awe of that I thought they would live forever. James Earl Jones, Nikki Giovanni, Jimmy Carter, Sean Connery, David Lynch, Prince, David Bowie... it still feels just wrong.

Currently getting acquainted with BlueSky & confused to find that it's all public. On the + side, there will still be fact-checking & content moderators. And no donations made to appease politicians! On the - side, my conservative relatives can still read all my posts. Man, how I miss LiveJournal.
