Many of us would stand up to any level of torture inflicted upon ourselves. But it’s a different matter to remain steadfast when the people you care about are the ones being threatened. We’ve moved on to the next level of hostage taking by Trump.

Trump said he would withhold funding resulting in the loss of hundreds of jobs at the university unless Ryan resigned. It’s like Ryan’s family was taken hostage by a terrorist and was told that they would all be killed unless he resigned.
