Yes. And I always try to make sure they're not extremely common but also not completely uncommon/made up (especially for contemporary, SFF is a bit more forgiving I feel). I am very name-conscious because my own (real) name is very ethnic and ppl mispronounce it all the time. Hence the penname 😅

Yeah, I've got 3 POV main characters, but Lia is the protagonist. Although if I had to say who is my favourite character, it probably would have to be Rita.

Depends which one 😅 I have one currently out being queried with agents, one I am just starting to do the first pass edit on (structural edit), one that is about 80% finished writing and one that is sort of floating around (I have now written 3 opening chapters for it and I'm happy with none).
