As said previously, the flame should be a silhouette. It is now applied to geometry that has another flame shader. The idea was to create something with more depth. Thx again to @simonschreibt.bsky.social and his blog simonschreibt.de/gat/pokemon-rapidash for the inspiration

Created a shader to generate an animation for the silhouette of a flame vfx effect. Thanks a lot @simonschreibt.bsky.social, it's a variation of your example given at the ADDON conference.

Guess I'll post micro-updates of my WebGL shader portfolio to find other TechArtists. After way too many hours I finally managed to copy the deph buffer from one rendertarget to another while using a stencil buffer. Looking forward to implementing some VFX with this effect.
