when Elon Musk started recruiting for DOGE last November, he said the work would be “tedious” and “compensation is zero"

now it turns out some DOGE operatives are earning six-figure salaries, one as high as $195,200, as much as a civil servant can legally make

Some DOGE Staffers Are Drawing Six-Figure Government Salaries
Engineers and executives at the so-called Department of Government Efficiency are drawing healthy taxpayer-funded salaries—sometimes from the very agencies they are cutting.

Love the pink in the chamber in support of women’s issues. Unfortunately, I am in no capacity prepared for what is to certainly be a cringe fest.

I couldn’t agree more with Governor Walz (I miss his down to earth, common sense approach). Trump is reprehensible. Nothing but an ignorant bully. For him to require Ukraine to grovel in front of the press made me physically ill. Where’s the footage from his talks with Putin??

I voted to reject RFK Jr.'s nomination to HHS.

I cannot in good conscience support someone who denies and will dilute our public health protections, sow distrust in science, and oversee massive cuts to health care programs for vulnerable Americans.

What a dishonorable day. The only thing I will be celebrating is the life of MLK and all black lives taken because of the color of their skin.

Is anybody else as disturbed and sad as I am that the celebration of Martin Luther King tomorrow will be overshadowed by the swearing in of a felon? I just threw up a little in my mouth.

Our future president, folks:

“Musk told those opposed to H-1B visas to ‘[t]ake a big step back and F*CK YOURSELF in the face.’ He said: ‘I will go to war on this issue the likes of which you cannot possibly comprehend.’”

The president-elect has not yet personally lobbied hard for his choices, limiting his exposure if they are not confirmed. Some allies fear he’ll be weakened if another pick withdraws.
