Incredible - Sussan Ley’s first car was a VW Beetle, which she celebrated in May 2024 with this social media post.

Is someone going to tell her?

Australia has imposed 1,600 sanctions in response to Russia’s actions in Ukraine. 1,600.
And Israel? About a dozen, against individuals and groups - but not on trade.

It’s not that we can’t act against a genocide, it’s that we are choosing not to.

My high school legal studies and economics teacher came to see me speak last night. He remembered me because of how argumentative I was in class. Always question the orthodoxy kids!

Young people deserve representation in the parliament. What is the point of this fkn article other than to shame someone for not being born in the 1970s? Shock horror - 20-somethings are among us and sometimes they are in the parliament.

Oh FFS. This is the WHOLE point - superannuation is not meant to be used as a wealth building vehicle or to pass down millions to your kids. It is meant to be savings for your retirement. That it IS being used to dodge tax while building wealth/inheritance is why reform is needed

With all of Greta’s privilege, she stands for what’s right every time. Every time she’s asked about herself she answers by redirecting straight to the people she’s standing up for. ‘How are you?’ ‘Better than the people in Palestine, specifically Gaza.’

👇 = smug bullshit from a small mind

Paul Keating has commented on Ed Husic’s exclusion from the new Albanese ministry, making the point that it’s showing contempt for the Muslim community who supported Labor

Guess which one rolled over while sleeping in my arms almost falling off the bed, causing me grievous bodily harm in the process of saving themselves and then demanded second dinner?

Obviously designed by someone with a sense of humour - Dutton positioned under a coffin, sub heads talking about ‘lifting the lid’ (meanwhile - he has been in politics for decades, made all his own choices and brought his children on the campaign - and in front of the cameras)
