I rescue and rehab #bats. With a committed team, I help people who find bats - determine if they are releasable (walk the person thru how to do this correctly) or help them find their nearest rehabber or vet who will actually see bats. We also do talks in KZN.

So, I have items made that are in stock. The price ranges are from about r175 up to r1,500 depending on the size, materials used, & pattern complication. Every little bit helps me get to my goal to replace this mesh. #crochet

We have to get a specific mesh that is rodent- and snake-proof from Mesh for Birds SA. It works out cheaper to buy a 30m roll at r2,630. What we have left over we can save for any repairs. We also need to buy plastic garden mesh for replacing some areas inside the house.

Little girl was caught by a stray cat last Sat. My friend safely collected her & brought her to me immediately. She lost part of her 3rd digit but she's doing great. Done w antibiotics, it's just R&R until the wing knits & we can see if she can fly well enough to be released.🦇❤️

I made a roseate #spoonbill, pattern by Starbird Creations. What an awesome pattern to test! You can see that he's almost as tall as my #shoebill. 😁 I'm considering raffling both of these off at some point.
