It’s about a young girl in South Carolina (I think) who lives on a plantation during slavery and becomes best friends with the young slave girl who is assigned to her, and what they did together to fight slavery. It’s by Sue Monk Kidd. I read it years ago, but is an amazing book.

I was supposed to go today, but she had to cancel due to illness. I really needed her today. 😢

I just took a walk to try and relax and saw someone with a “Women for Trump” sign in her yard and I was done for. Not sure if she was in her house, but if she was, she most certainly had to have heard my choice words…
