Expecting winter weather this week in the Dakotas, so we're cutting down what's left of the garden and blowing leaves into piles for pollinators to overwinter. Love seeing your Hawai'i snapshots! Earned my MFA at UH Manoa and taught at La Pietra for a few years. Winter was warmer then! 😉

I’m a sucker for the senior animals, be they dogs or cats. The white one is 13 and the brown one is 15, and they radiate such gentle loving wisdom. Grateful for every day we have together!

Oh, how sweet! They do look to be about the same build, don’t they? Mine is 13 and a blend of rat terrier and toy Fox terrier. She’s mostly deaf and her eyes are starting to glaze, but she still has great energy and can sniff out all kinds of treats and mischief. ❤️ They have my whole heart!
