You would have hoped that politicians who are not on the far right would look at Trump, Farage, GB News, The Telegraph, Murdoch’s papers etc lining up to give the BBC a kicking and then take a step back to think a bit before joining in.

Also shows how unfit First Past The Post is as an electoral system. We need Proportional Representation, and to accept that we now have a multi-party democracy and can expect more coalition governments.

Like why would the bbc need to ‘balance’ its cover of the US in this way?
