Rafa gives perhaps a subtle message to the various fans bases, saying that these guys had an understanding between themselves that “tennis is just a game” despite their iconic rivalries. ❤️

Re: PTPA lawsuit 🎾
This stood out to me in the @theathletic.bsky.social write up by Matt Futterman because Quinn has a serious track record of success.

Learner Tien says he’s working on a few “random technical things” with his serve and recognizes he needs more free points in his service games.
Solid win today at Delray though ✅🌴

Taylor Fritz gave an honest interview on topics & didn’t hold back. You can see the maturity and real leadership potential. One example: He says the doubles players will not like the format changes at the US Open, but “the truth is that mixed doubles, as it was, isn’t adding that much to the Slams”

Taylor Fritz working on his serve +1 drop shot, practicing with Matteo Arnaldi at Delray Open… and I almost captured contact exactly 😃

The Sinner game plan to dramatically move back his return position against the Zverev serve was key 🔑

3 out of 4 on my AO pre-tournament draw analysis, and I think I’ll stick with it 👌👍

Djokovic has enjoyed some fascinating rivalries in his time.
This one with Alcaraz is cross-generational, adding yet another layer of complexity 💎
H2H now 5-3 Novak

Never say ho hum he won again
Never take it for granted

Why did Fritz lose?
1. His serve speeds are off
2. Monfils decided to hit big 2nd serves. Mostly slice/slider.
If you have a Western grip like Taylor does, that’s a nightmare.
A serve strategy executed to perfection👨🏾‍🍳

In tennis nerd circles there’s been some fawning over Joao Fonseca’s forehand— and justifiably so. It’s easy to get excited about readings on the speed gun. But the sport’s real best forehand might be hiding in plain sight. #Djokovic #AO2025

Very cool technology…
But are the players getting a cut?

Joao Fonseca tells AO press he idolized Federer and even attempted to develop a one-handed BH before going to a 2.
Time to get on the hype train 🚂 🇧🇷

Curious about the potential sale of Tennis Channel, I searched.
Google’s AI has given me a host of information culled from behind 3 paywalls. Reporters from @frontofficesports.bsky.social & @bloomberg.com & @sportsbizjournal.bsky.social have had their information stolen. Chilling for journalists.

Are you in favor of courtside gathering tables like they have at Auckland? Or do you think it takes away from the action? 🤔
