When is the last time that you’ve been to Detroit? I am 59 and take DDOT everywhere and have never had an issue other than buses being late. I go by myself to Tigers games and concerts at various venues.

Belle Isle, DIA and the library across the street has amazing murals up the stairs, always something going on downtown during the summer (outdoor movies, food trucks, live music), Tigers game if they are home, Eastern Market stunning churches and buildings, The Shepherd (art museum, skatepark, bar)

Start hydrating now. I found donations to be faster if your hydrated. In Detroit the Red Cross has you lie flat on a table which I find also to be helpful.
