I’m in Milan, about to start a group trip to Lake Como for a plein air watercolor class. This sky gives me hope for the week since every day all day rain is forecasted, and today the weather app indicates 100% rain. I may yet be able to use that half pan of cerulean. #pitturaadacquarello #bluesky

On the way to Manhattan this morning, I glanced at the book the man seated next to me was reading, and it was the same book that two and a half hours later, the man seated opposite me on the train to Brooklyn would be reading. Feels like a recommendation.

I walked along the river from the Tarrytown train station to the one at Philipse Manor—the latter’s depot being the home of The Hudson Valley Writers Center. I think I should ride up here more frequently simply to walk by this #SleepyHollowLighthouse.
