Yep. If it had just been an affair, it would have been run of the mill. I think most of the fascination was that he peaced out on his family, his protective detail, and his job for an entire week to do it like he was a normal cheating pos rather than someone subject to fairly intense scrutiny.

My dad started me on the Foundation series as a tween before I realized you could just stop reading a book or series you didn't like and after finishing the series, I didn't read scifi again for like 2 decades. Not a fan.
