“Boys will be boys.” We came home to a bunch of squad cars and the news that someone got beat in the head with the wrench + a shot fired down the street. I got out of the car and my ears were literally met with the phrase “boys will be boys.” Ummm… NO. That’s NOT how we do things around here.

My oldest child (a high school senior) wrote this on their math notes. I found it while grabbing dirty dishes out of their bedroom. 🥺😭💕 For a brief moment, everything is right in the world. 🩷😊
