Recently visited a WW2 themed cafe on the Norfolk coast. Spitfire lattes galore. Extremely odd spot. They surprisingly have a vegan menu, but unsurprisingly have pictures of Churchill in the bathrooms

What a feeling to see “Beware Blue Skies” on display at the Imperial War Museum in London after a playing a role in for a year in conceptualizing this project with the Centre for Drones & Cultures and Human Studio. It is on displays till mid March, please go see it if you get a chance!

Thought I’d do an introduction. I’m a postdoc mainly focusing on civilian drones and how they fit within processes of militarizing subjects in the global north. I use feminist, queer, and disability theory to ask about the changing category of the Human in the drone age. This is my cat Lou :)
