Pozole day 3: prep the vegetables

Second day of making pozole: grinding up chilies, garlic, onion and cumin into a sauce. It looks like blood, but tastes amazing.

First day of making pozole: cleaning out chile pods, stripping their veins, and soaking them until they’re soft.

Finally got tired of my longish hair and let Holly van der Molen work her magic.
