“Daffodil Moon” is an older piece (2021) on exhibit at Pulse PDX for just a few more days! I was trying to capture the bright joy daffodils exude this time of year. Looking for those spots of joy in daily life is essential for staying grounded in dark times! Or anytime.

“Micro Bouquet” 24” X 20”features 5 PNW native wildflowers in a dream bouquet. They are all pretty tiny flowers in real life, and they bloom at various times. It would be difficult to create this in real life! Currently on view in my exhibit at Pulse PDX.

“Pathfinder” 20” X 24” is a super close up view of the flowers of the pathfinder plant, aka Adenocaulon. Using a macro lens on these tiny flowers when I was out camping revealed their incredible geometry and intricacy. So amazing!
