You, of course, know about all the people Vinay actively blocks from public debate and his lack of maturity and professionalism.

Also his many conflicts of interest including his funding from AV, insurance companies, etc. Don’t have to pay for drugs or treatments if approval blocked.

Besides his temperament. Which makes him uniquely unqualified for this position…

He never runs the RCTs and seems like he only critiques the ones that don’t align with what his funders want. Like covering a drug or treatment. Which is why he will have incredible power at CBER.

Was this because “resilient” is on the forbidden list of DEI words?

Please introduce legislation to limit the power of the POTUS to enact tariffs like this. Let every Senator and Rep vote on it so we can know who is putting country above party and patronage.

Congress needs to take back power to constrain the executive. Senator Paul is correct - he shouldn’t have the power to unilaterally enact an enormous biggest tax increase. He is using this to consolidate authoritarian power and will reward tax relief to the most obsequious industries and countries.

Do Democrats care more about their own campaign funds or stopping an authoritarian takeover? I keep getting asked to donate to candidates and party but I’m not seeing ads to convince people to call their legislators about this guy. Where is all the marketing/influencing that know could be effective?

Please also make sure that ads for homeopathic, vitamin and supplement industry are banned too. Especially since these substances which purport to be medicinal but somehow better aren’t subjected to any rigorous testing for safety or efficacy.

I think most of us want to move on and not think about those times again. But I think it is worthwhile to document the history - the uncertainty, the lack of preparedness, the overload of health systems, the difficult decisions that had to be made without the benefit of the knowledge we have now.

There was clearly an asymmetry of information about what was happening in the hospitals. It’s always difficult to share stories out of respect for patients and HIPAA requirements. But I really think people need to hear the stories about what happened at hospitals across the country and world.

Running a small independent family medicine office, it was incredibly stressful worrying about the health of my patients and my staff as well as trying to stay afloat financially

So incredibly stressful. Given no PPE and no tests for a long time, clinics couldn’t open so no work for so many physicians.

I’m emergency medicine and everyone assumed my group was fine, but our patient visits dropped immediately and we all took pay cuts. I took a voluntary furlough.

It’s just so irritating to hear all these libertarian free speech hawks squawking about conspiracy and censorship. He wasn’t censored. Not a conspiracy. He was criticized. Harshly because he is an ideologue and put forth a plan that was not just unethical but was just plain wrong. Total ❄️ ❄️ ❄️ .

In reality they were harshly criticized for their errors in logic and judgement. They were just wrong.

But they met at the Oval Office and had tons of access and backing of the libertarian billionaires. They weren’t censored. Just despised by vast majority of colleagues because they were wrong.

Not to mention that you can’t effectively isolate high risk people who often need to interact with others, especially without interventions like masks, ventilation, etc that they say “infringe on freedom” and “don’t work.”

Just stunningly wrong. And cried that they were censored when…
