Our book explores the relationship between reading fiction and engaging with science. We examine the contexts in which science fictions matter, and show how reading science (in) fiction can be understood in relation to public understandings of science.

Went to see CYBORG: A DOCUMENTARY this evening. Felt like the filmmakers got bored halfway through and handed control to the Cyborg Foundation to make an extended ad reel. But prior to that offered some interesting engagement with subject Neil Harbisson who was more ‘human’-ised than I’ve seen 1/?

I got to write a new lecture for this week! I love researching and putting together slides #SpecialInterest. Teaching the same classes each year (and the workloading lie) doesn’t allow for new content. So this has been a much needed boost 💕🥹
