Think firing the entire federal workforce will save America money?

Federal civilian employees account for just 4% of the federal budget. Even if someone like Musk—or any president—fired all of us, it wouldn’t make much of a dent in government spending. Don’t fall for it.

Husband and I have started sending “Squirrel Lists” to each other. The list of fairly inconsequential things that we keep forgetting to tell each other, like what my folks are bringing when they come to visit or that he paid the toll road bill that came in the mail.
