Yes please! Tropes can be so problematic! Currently reading North is the Night, and sooo much ridiculous drama about it being a sapphic romance or not. I’ve worked in Marketing forever you can’t sparse down a 400 page book in 3 words or ACOTAR meets The Dictionary or for fans of!

I really try to stay out of the drama, but this is just horrible! I see it happening more and more. Authors shouldn’t have to defend themselves to ANYONE after all the hard work it takes to write a BOOK! Like, if you don’t like the book or whatever other stupid rumors, then don’t read it?
