Our research into the prevention and treatment of obesity is focussed on improving physical and mental health and wellbeing. Weight stigma and shaming people about body size and shape undermines this and causes considerable damage to the physical and mental health of people living with obesity.

Absolutely insane.

And will further exacerbate inequalities for kids whose parents are less engaged/able/available for support…. It’s not like a 5yo can even try to muddle through on their own.

that’s very kind of you to say but I can only hope the reviewers agree. I have regular intrusive thoughts about that grant being rejected and Nick telling me it’s because I’m not a proper scientist and I need to leave Cambridge immediately 😅😂
