About time!

Atmosphere at the Newcastle match was pretty toxic. Booing our players, haven’t heard that for a long time & comments hurled at them during the game just weren’t helpful. Players obvs low on confidence, get behind them. Now the vile abuse Kai’s wife has received. Shameful. Xhaka all over again.

Was surprised at the level of negativity in the ground, especially booing players off the pitch. Didn’t play well but if they’re low on confidence it’s really not going to help. Need to get behind them on Sunday.

Feel so sorry for Marcus Fakana & this absurd, hellish situation. The girl’s mother must have known there would be serious ramifications as she ensured her daughter was out of the country before contacting police. The woman is a disgrace. Her daughter met a boy she liked & had consensual sex.

I take my Christmas tree home on the bus in London. I know it looks ridiculous but every year it gives the drivers a laugh. It’s also the one time of the year when I find so many fellow passengers will stop to chat.

Hopefully not a resurgence of al-Qaeda / Isis. Will one leader able to successfully unite the various factions? Hasn’t worked elsewhere in the region. Can only hope for the best for the people of Syria, with time for communities to recover and rebuild. What comes next is always a worry.

Is that the house just off Owlet’s Nest on the back road to baysbrown? Had a huge refurbishment and gardens landscaped few years ago? If so, it’s been totally gutted recently. No internal floors, conservatory/lean-to removed.
