Today I took the small fella for a walk. My goal was getting a tea at the end but he got squirrelly so we stopped at the elementary school playground to be rescued.

Then we played all day. This kid is always on the go and it's exhausting most days. At least we all had a good nap this afternoon!

Today has been a day. Full day at work, 8 hrs nonstop. Sign off in the mood to clean. It's overdue.

2 loads handwashing dried and put away
Gathered, washed and repacked camping kitchen tote
Folded 2 loads washing
put on three loads (1 hang-dry)

I’m worried for our future either way due to US sovereignty threats but a CPC gov would just streamline the possibility. We need to clearly defeat PP by supporting Carney even if you lean NDP or farther left. Vote splitting increases our chances of losing our sovereignty. #ElbowsUp

Garden started!! Took the muffinman out this morning to the garden centre and we found a bunch of seeds which I've just put into dirt! He loooooved playing in the dirt, I might have a great little gardener on my hands ☺️☘️🌱

I am really grateful for Spring. Going to spend some time this weekend setting up my patio garden, and introducing my toddler to the thrills of dirt!

While I dislike renting, I have to say our current landlord is amazing. The dishwasher is having some issues, texted her, she is sending a plumber Wednesday. Having a responsive, kind landlord is pretty nice (for once)!

I love and support that BC pharmacists can do things to alleviate pressure in urgent care&ER rooms but they need more availability.

Finally got everything sorted to cast my ballot for the liberal party Canada's leadership race.

It took me three days, because everyone is sick, but the laundry room is clean and tidy again. (I don't have room for the sheets on top of the dryer in the cupboard)

Good lord it's hard to be online lately.

I know it's very much a privilege to ignore a lot of things right now, but I can't even use threads without a hundred posts about infant loss flooding my feed.

My anxiety is already high. Please don't make me worry my baby is going to die at any moment.

This morning at daycare drop off, my son had wandered away to play. After a minute, he came back to us and gave me a hug around my knees.
This baby always gives his sweet snugs to Dada, but this morning Mummy got the sweet!!

This feels like Twitter of the old days and it's nice. Let's be kind to each other, and punching Nazi's is always the correct action.
