Let me know when theire is something significant happens becuse all i see now is that a old house burt down and it migth effect a companies bottomline with the risk of it just being rebuilt and used in the same way

I never talked about carpet bombing or nuking
We are talking about taking out specific pieces of infrastructure in this case powerplants whice are legitmate strategic targets when they are used for the wareffort and as power plants are part of grid they pretty much all are

It actully is accepted in the laws of war.
Power generation is such a common resources that it can almost always be claimed as of millitary importances, same with fuel.

Millitary necessity can easily be "it heats houses where soldiers live" or again it powers trains that transport troops. Does not matter if civilians depend on it, due to millitary use its now a valid target
