Chang'e-3 lander on the Moon just turned on again 📡〰️calling home and in command lock with groundstation! Sun's elevation at Chang'e-3 landing site in Mare Imbrium is 20°. Landing date was 14th December 2013. #HNY2026

What was thought to be “Maven” is in fact MRO. Proof test by off-pointing our 20m antenna from Mars, but also acid tested when MRO disappeared behind Mars (LOS) – same effect.

UPDATE: #MRO and #MAVEN downlink frequencies are 6 MHz apart, so they should normally not interfere with each other. However, the events we saw yesterday and today as of timings and frequency doppler agree with Horizons/MRO exactly. In the attached screenshots we can see “spurious” and “harmonics”.

#MAVEN is still alive and transmitting on the low gain antenna! 📡〰️🛰️ Signal is weak on our 20m dish in Bochum, but Maven is currently in command lock with DSN in Madrid. Here a screenshot when it came out from periareion (periapsis) behind Mars.

DSCOVR in Safe mode? At 11:43 UTC the S-Band signal got slowly much weaker as the S/C probably changed attitude. In fact, it switched to very low data rate 1 Kbit/s and still is after unlocking from the DSN station in Madrid!

Deep Space Climate Observatory #DSCOVR in DSN ranging activity with DSS 54 antenna in Madrid. So far we haven't received any EPIC images, but the downlink signal looks great.

JUNO at Jupiter is still alive!! 📡〰️🛰️Just received it's X-Band transmitter (carrier only) at 781 Million kilometer distance with the Bochum 20m antenna.

Strong downlinks from #IMAP on X-band, #SWFO-L1 and Carruthers #CGO on S-band with our 20m dish at the Bochum observatory! All three spacecraft are heading to orbit the Sun near the Lagrange point 1. 📡〰️〰️🛰️
