The demands stayed the same.
They finished the Friday prayers and took to the streets.
With no political agenda.
With nothing but hope.

And 15 years ago, young men and women filled the streets to resume their quest for a free Egypt. We knew it as the Friday of Anger. And it was the truest and purest form of protest I have ever experienced. #Egypt #EgyptianRevolution #FridayofAnger #ArabSpring

There's something very special about self-depiction and self-presentation in those comics. There's something very special about how African artists focus on the environment and the challenges facing it, from climate change to societal and political aspects.

The Gazan child who wears the American-Jewish idea of Superman is likely killed by Israeli fire.
Imagine a tiny young boy in a Superman cape lying under rubble, his cape fluttering with holes of gunfire.

Here's the idea: a child in Gaza, who has either seen or read a Superman comic or film, associates himself with the idea of the American superhero that was created by Jewish artists.
The child does not possess any power but that of hope.

Earlier, I came across this peculiar post: a Palestinian child wearing the Superman cape. I cannot verify the reality of that image, but I've found that it dates back to November 2024.
