Seems like a miracle to me that these people could understand each other. The lack of communications skills must have led to a lot of misunderstandings.

I’m so grateful for AOC’s voice. Even if it doesn’t stop the Republican corruption and looting of our system, it’s important that our objections be on the record.

I would argue Summers is a terrible economist, in addition to a moral zero.

Exactly. I remember him trying to keep the relief smaller because otherwise the economy might get “overheated”. The stimulus was bigger than he wanted but still about 1/2 what it should have been. One man wrecking crew.

Plus, what parent considers pain relief for his children “useless”??? He can tough it out all he wants, but why leave your kids in pain?

If you listen to his whole statement, it sounds like 1) he doesn’t give his children pain meds, and 2) he thinks ibuprofen causes obesity.

Me Too barely got started. It barely scratched the surface, and it’s so infuriating to hear men say it went too far. It makes me suspect them of being predators or wanna-be predators.

Why not? If people need food, why not get them what they need? It’s a tiny portion of the federal budget. There are plenty of other places to cut — like our bloated “defense” budget. Also the ICE empire.

I’d advise people not to take jobs with Homeland Security then. There are better places to work.
