Our #pushcartnominee Jamie Manias earned their MFA in Poetry from Bowling Green State University. Living on the autism spectrum as a trans person informs their poetry, which has appeared in Rat’s Ass Review, Kingfisher, and t’ART, to name a few.

Our #pushcartnominee Hannah Frey is a left-handed poet, in the habit of regarding and archiving the world around her. She is a recipient of the Ollie A. & J.O. Heskett Graduate Fellowship and is currently the acting Art Editor of her university’s literature journal.

Our #pushcartnominee Len Slatest’s poems were published in Bards Annual, Creations magazine, Eastern Sea Bards, and (upcoming in 2025) Bulb Culture Collective. He won a small cash award for his fictional piece “Unalterable Decision in Munich”, published in Sound Waves.

Our #pushcartnominee Nicholas Grooms is a poet, writer and musician. He has been published in Suburban Witchcraft and others, but he is best known for his work creating music for the Kansas City Chiefs. He currently resides in Austin, TX where he focuses on being the best father he can possibly be.

Our #pushcartnominee Laura Webb is a junior doctor whose work explores themes of illness and healing, folklore and ecology. Her previous projects include initiatives to bring art into hospitals. She co-edits the sci-poetry journal Consilience and is currently studying an MA in Writing Poetry.

Our #pushcartnominee Ed Ruzicka’s third book of poems, Squalls (Kelsay Books), was released in March. Ed’s poems have appeared in the Atlanta Review and the Chicago Literary Review among others. Ed is the president of the Poetry Society of Louisiana and lives with his wife, Renee, in Baton Rouge.

In honour of World Women's Day, ionosphere contributor Alla Turovskaya has released her powerful poetry collection "I Am the Start And the End". The book features the poem "On the Other Edge of Technology", which earned her a Pushcart nomination! Get your copy now in paperback or e-book on Amazon.
